Reflection on part of my school year from November

Posted by Andrew.martin00 on January 19, 2019 at 12:05 AM

Last spring I interviewed to become a prefect at Rothesay Netherwood School. The area of interest I interviewed to be a prefect in was Interhouse, and I chose this because it was an area of the school I thought was important and helped bring the school community closer together. In the first few weeks of school Maddy and I planned Interhouse events that helped break the ice and bring people closer together. Since the first week of school there has not been much Interhouse activity, although Socktober was an that was about all the Interhouse-related things that have happened. I am thinking that I want to do something regarding the Christmas Exchange and tying it into Interhouse, most likely based on donations or other participation by the different houses.

The Inter-house activities have been really fun. The activities help to create another layer of belonging for students who might, otherwise, not have a lot of contact. Thanks for your creativity and enthusiasm...even when life is super busy.
